About Us
Sea Guardians was founded by Daniel Turner Orvin, a student at Academic Magnet High School in North Charleston, South Carolina. He created this community-based organization with the mission of protecting our rich coastal waters, wetlands and tributaries. Sea Guardians organizes beach and marsh clean-up events, works with state and private organizations on coastal protection initiatives, and provides volunteer opportunities for community members that care about our fragile coastal ecosystems.
